Baxi 80 eco - earthing towel rail

Hi,

A few months ago, I removed the radiator in the bathroom and replaced it with a new towel rail.

Its taken me a while to add the earth clamps for the pipes coming off the towel rail. I added them yesterday using the existing wires from the old radiator.

Not sure if connected in any way and was hoping you guys would help..
The boiler has no power now and was wandering if it's anything to do with fitting the earth clamps..

The rcd on the consumer unit is fine and no power lost apart from boiler..

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Is the boiler usually wired into the consumer unit?
I was thinking of testing the fused spur its on..
