My daughter has a Baxi 800 and when she turns on the hot water, it fires up, goes slightly warm, then turns off. Despite the temperature actually being around 30°, it displays around 50°+ so the boiler thinks it has reached the desired temperature.
Thoughts?

Boiler under warranty? If she’s not had work carried out recently, then it could be a few things.

run a cold water tap at full rate and then with it still running run , does the boiler work correctly now ?
