Hi, hope someone can help.
I have an old Baxi Bahama 100 Combi which is hard to get a support for these days. It works but has an annoying habit of often requiring a reset when it comes to being needed. It does not seem to be overheating and will run Ok for days & weeks and then get moody for a few days and not start when required. It will normally start after a reset but recently has required a few attempts to get it going again.
Any ideas on how I can identify the issue please?

Just to add a little detail here, the issue seems to be sometimes the burner will simply not light and so locksout, the pump, fan etc. all seem to be working but the flame does not catch all the time. when it catches it runs fine for days/weeks!

There are a few possible causes , none of which you can sort yourself, get a proper service done on it, by someone who knows the boiler not just a poke and go session

OK, Any suggestions on a company that can offer a decent service in the midlands?

You could ask Baxi for a price to service it, not sure what their policy is for a boiler of that age but someone will know, if you say where in the Midlands you are Im sure someone from here will be able to recommend someone
