I have a Baxi Bermuda 551 back boiler and the pilot light has been blown out by the wind. I followed the instructions to the letter by igniting the pilot light and releasing the grey button slowly and the pilot always goes out. I've also tried to turn the grey button then leave the system for 3 minutes and then try again, but this also doesn't work.
I've been told it could be the thermocouple or the gas valve? Are they easy to change, or can you tell which is faulty by a bit of fault finding without taking them out. Also to work on the boiler more easily can you release the two bolts and pull the guts of the system away from the fire.
Any help would be most appreciated.
thanks
Nathan
