BAXI BERMUDA 552 PILOT LIGHT

friend has a baxi bermuda back boiler which she phoned me to say she had no h/water or heating. When i got there i found out that the pilot light was out so i reignited it ok but as soon as i put on the programmer for hot water or heating the main burner would light for about 15 secs the go out. i would then have to relight the pilot and when i tried again the same thing would happen.

any ideas please

You will need to get a CORGI in to check the boiler over, could be a number of things from a dirty pilot to a sooted up boiler.

A good service should sort this out.

Sounds as though it may have been neglected on the servicing front in the past.
