Hello - just wondering if someone can help me.

I have had to drain my central heating system due to a radiator valve leaking on the copper pipe. I have now rectified this, but haven't refitted the radiator as yet, because I am plastering the wall behind. I have refilled the central heating system and bled all the upstairs and downstairs radiators.

I have run the central heating for an hour to test, none of the radiators get hot, I can hear the pump is very vocal. Is this due to a break in the circuit with the radiator missing.

Any help would be gratefully received.

thanks in advance James

Your rads are PROBABLY all in parallel, but some installers used the series (single pipe) method for a long time, in which case if you ever turned one off they'd all go cold if there was no bypass pipe underneath.

Try letting air out of the rad valves where the rad's missing.
