yesterday it was working fine ,when you adjust the room thermostat up (click whoomph) the boiler lights , except today it doesnt it doesnt what could be the problem .....and i cant afford to replace the whole thing yet i'm between jobs shall we say ... the pilot light is lit and every thing appears normal a bit dusty but normal ....im stumped any one out there can help please .

could be something as simple as the thermostat ?
or maybe the gas valve needs replaceing
get an RGI to service the boiler.

Could be 3 amp fuse gone if you have a fused outlet next to the chimney.

Could be the 3 port valve head microswitch gone if you have a fully pumped system with one fitted.

thanks for advice i spoke to a friend of a friend who knows a bloke down the pub ......and he to see and its my diverter valve thats seized aparently ? . new one on way after easter break again thanks

as i said to the other chap i spoke to a friend and his mate came round and had a look its my divetre valve .....its seized . thanks for your help .
