Hi guys,

bit new here but here goes.

Just bought a flat and everything has been shut off for sometime as it's been empty. I've got the gas, water and electric all on again, but it has a back boiler system fitted. All I can work out is that it's a Baxi Bermuda VP2 (that's all it says! ). Can anybody point me to a page that tells me how to get this going again after it's been off for some time or let me know how to do it?

Thanks in advance

You need to light the pilot light.

The instructions should be on the back of the cover plate at the bottom which pulls off.

There were a few models but the 552 is the most common and representative.

They are not very efficient and you should start saving up for a replacement.

If its been off for "some time", I would advise you to use the immersion (if you have one) and get the boiler serviced (unless you have documented proof of service) before putting your family's health at risk.
