Baxi Boiler Lockout....

Hey all,

I've a Baxi Inset 3 Super Range type KS. When the boiler is turned
on it jumps straight to Lockout, once reset it works fine.. I can then
use the central heating control to turn on/off with no problem.

However once it has been off for a while, then turned on, it
goes back to lockout. So no timed heating for me, and getting cold these
mornings. Problem has the service guys head wrecked, 4 visits,
replacment parts and still no solution.

Any ideas????

what parts have been changed ?

He changed the gas sensing probe as he felt bad signals
where being sent to the boiler, then modified some of the
electrical connections as he thought some may have been shorting
and tripping the boiler, he's now onto the supplier to see if maybe
there's a known PCB fault with the control board.

So far no joy, he's back today to have another stab at it,
let you know how he gets on.............

I am having exactly the same problem. Lockout on my baxi bermuda KS. I have had the service guys round about 4 times. If anyone knows what the problem is with the bermuda locking out please post.

Mine seems to go to lockout randomly too after it has been on for a while.
