Hi All,
My Baxi Maxflow combi has started developing an odd fault. Even with the boiler controls set to timer off and only hot water selected, the central heating occasionally comes on all by itself, not good on a warm day or evening!
This is intermittent, so I guess the diverter valve motor is getting a false feed from somewhere.
Am I on the right lines with this and can anyone pin it down from my description ?
The only other cause is the boiler has become possessed !
Thanks,
Paul

I would definitely suspect the div valve, possibly passing when HW is on, usually caused by dirt in system getting on the valve seating.
