Hi, should i be able to get hot water from my taps if i have no pressure in the radiators?
I've just drained down my radiators to modify some bathroom pipes on the C/H side but my (D/H) hot water has stopped from the taps, is this correct or a fault? I thought the boiler only needs pressure for the radiators.

You could have isolated the boiler when pressurised and continue to get hot water.

The boiler needs presure to function!

You should have searched on this forum first or even asked the question ( which we see every week or so! ).
