Baxi platinum 40

Baxi Platinum 33 to replace my old combi boiler (halstead finest gold)

largish 4 bed house 11 rads 1 bathroom 1 shower room 3 teenage kids so washer and shower/bath seem to be on constantly.

An installer has just recomended the

Baxi Platinum 40 to give me better hot water performance

Other quotes have said 33 would be adequate but we have a real problem at the moment with baths taking ages to fill so anything that improves this is really tempting.

Anyone think I will notice a significant difference between the 33 and the 40

Yes it makes quite a difference BUT ONLY if the mains is up to it. Have you measeured pressure/flow from CW taps on together?

Forgot to say plumber measured flow rate of cold water taps
(not sure what measurement was) but said it was excellent
