Hi, Can any one help me please, winter started and no central heating, its horrible. Coming to the point, couple of days ago, there was no hot water at all, the boiler was coming on and fan on light comes and goes off, the cycle was continuing, so I read somewhere on the forum that there may be a flaky connection on the pcb needs fixing, so i have cheked the pcb and surprisingly there was a flaky connection and i have soldered it and boiler started working. hot water back on, excellent but yesterday i have tried to switch on the central heating with out realising that its not working, i have put it on timer. but after one hour i have realised that there was no heating. so, i have checked the boiler and boiler was off but timer light is still on hw and ch aswell. so, for some reason boiler gone itself off. all the radiators were cold except one in the bathroom, thats the only one.

So, i have to sort out couple of problems here, one is boiler is switch off on its own and the other one is radiators not firing up.

I have noticed one more thing is when the central heating was on, the boiler on light is not on, is that normal?

Please help me, thank you very much.

When the CH is on and the thermostat up high then the boiler demand light would normally be on.

It seems there is a control system problem.

Thank you very much for replying, how to check that its the control system problem and how to rectify it please. I don't really know much about it so, please bear with me and explain me what to do please. thank you.

I have got update on my situations, yesterday i have switched off the central heating and switched on only hot water and even the hotwater ran for one hour and switched off all the lights automatically. the timer panel still shows as hw was on. so, its not only CH even the HW goes on for some time and switches itself off, can some one help what to do please. thank you.
