Do you know when you really regret doing something?!!!

I have a Baxi Solo 2 40 PF. To the far left at the bottom of the boiler is a plastic cover which says 'Turn off mains before removing.' A boiler repair man came out not so long ago and must have left the cover loose because the other day I found that it was loose with no screw in it. However, I found the screw tonight and decided to resecure the cover. I jiggled it about a bit and had to move the part with the circuit board slightly to fit it in. I couldn't get it to fit properly so gave up. I have now tried to turn the boiler back on and nothing. Not a single light comes on. Any ideas?

Yep. You've broken it. Stop fiddling and get him back.

Yeah.

YOU didn't want to be DOING that!

Those boards are a mess of bad connections, so it could have been waiting for a nudge in the wrong direction.
Turn the power off, get a good look at the board and its plugs and sockets, make sure all is secure and try again.
