My boiler recently blew it's PCB and I had a local Corgi fitter change it for a genuine replacement part. The boiler fired up and we once again have hot water, the only thing it will not stop unless you switch it off with the mains isolator.
It ignores the timer switch. There is one exception, if the clock/controller showing CH/HW off when you turn the isolator off and back on the boiler power light shows there is a click and the light goes out. The boiler will now start when the controller calls for CH or HW or both. Once it has started it will not turn off, ignoring the controller, until isolated
I am told it might be down to a switch live problem. The Corgi guy hasn't a idea only to say the wiring must be wrong because it is the correct PCB. Does anyone have an idea of how to resolve the problem or a copy of the boiler wiring diagram. Baxi themselves do not have a diagram download as it is not a current model.
