can anybody help me i`m having a problem with my back boiler , the boiler on light comes on the fan light comes on ,the fan starts and stops straight away it dosen`t get as far as the ignition stage , i have just fitted a new fan kit but the problem is still there , can you make a sugestion.

how old is the boiler i know on some of the older models theres 2 metal tubes inside the boiler which corrode and let steam,water, condensate into them and into the aps. these tubes are obsolete, the fault finding usually pretty good on the baxi solos like.
might be totally different like but i had a fault on a glowworm system boiler last week doing exactly the same thing, fan runs then shuts off. turned out to be the pump gone and shutting boiler off, but all the fault finding said pcb

i presumed you were not meaning a back boiler,therefore on a wall boiler with your explanation , i would check the aps.
