Baxi Solo 2 PF

Can anyone help?

I have a baxi solo 2 boiler that is causing me some grief, when you go to fire the boiler up, all you get is the boiler on & the fan on but does not go any further, but a tap on the side off the boiler and it fires up no problem, so I have had the front off and tapped everything. When i tapped the air pressure switch it fires up fine. It only goes into fire sequence when i tap the air pressure switch. I have only just had this air pressure switch fitted any ideas it seems faulty to me or does anyone know of a common fault?
