i have a baxi solo 3 pfl 5o. when the fused switch is turned on, the boiler on light comes on but goes off immediatly followed by a click comming from the board. the boiler was working perfectly until this started to happen. any ideas. many thanks.

So the light comes on to show that the system is calling for heat, but the boiler does not go any further in the ignition process than the light coming on?
It sounds like you need to get a gas safe engineer round to have a look, as it may be the fan or pcb playing up, you should not be having a go yourself.

the light comes on but goes straight out again. this happens even though the potentiometer dial is in the off position.
