hi im having a problem i've gone to switch my heating on and nothing happened at all but when i switched the hot water on and everything fired up as normal so i can only have hot water and no heating any suggestions on how to fix it thanks

perhaps the zone valve is stuck? you`ll either have a 3 port valve or 2 x 2 port valves......one for heating and 1 for hot water....check in your airing cupboard or near where your pump is........
ive got heating on now, but its only working by putting the hotwater on without putting hotwater on it usually works but when i turn hot water off it shuts the heating down aswell, im wondering if its a fault with some wires up to the boiler
as said its a fault with the 3 port valve.
