Baxi solo 3pf 30

Need a bit of advice before I start dismantling the boiler. The problem is as follows.

Boiler fires fine when requesting hot water, but is unreponsive when requesting central heating. The thermostat control is set at 26 degrees so should be fine. Have checked the timer, also fine. Have also reset the boiler but no joy. So just to reiterate, hot water is fine, no heating.

Any ideas?

I would suspect the 3 port valve or at least the valve motor.

As above - Absolutely no need to take the cover off the Boiler!!

Many thanks for the replies above, be changing the valve over the weekend. Will post the result next week.
