My boiler is suffering from an extremely long cycle (20 min. on / 60 min. off). The thermistor cuts out at 80ºC flow as it should but the boiler doesn't re-start until ~22ºC.
By this time all the rads are cool again and I can't get the house hot enough to work off the room thermostat.
I've fitted a new PCB a month ago as it was burnt out, it came with a new potentiometer fitted and I fitted a new thermistor.
Any ideas welcome?

when boiler goes off, does pump continue running, or does it stop?

perhaps the gas valve solenoids may be faulty, you need to get a registered installer familiar with the way the boiler operates to take alook,

Got it checked out and they altered the Gas pressure. Seems to be working fine now. Thanks for your advice.

I dont see how just the gas settings could have caused that. But see if its cured the problem. Are you sure he did not do anything else> perhaps there was a bad connection which he disturbed which has righted the fault.

There is another part which is gas related which I would suspect but we are not allowed to give DIY gas repair advice here.
