Baxi Solo3 PFL 50
Problem:
Boiler fires ok when cold, and cut off when temperature has reached cut off set with knob. So far so good. But it would not start again until approx 1hour , and then will fire again no problem. So it effectively run 5 minutes every hour.
The boiler does not overheat, everything seems ok.
I have successfully tested the thermostat sensor, the fan and pressure switch, and all lloks good.
For testing purposes, I removed the combustion box door (held by 4 latches) and boiler works perfectly.
But if I fit the combustion box door back, the boiler will exhibit the problem.
So,it seems like a build up of temperature in fan/pressure switch area causes the problem.
Has anybody got any suggestion?
