I hope you guys can help me with my 10 year old Baxi Solo boiler on a pressured central heating system.

I am having problems getting my boiler to fire and then to continue heating. When the thermostat calls for heat the boiler fires but then cuts out and blows the fuses.

Does this sound like a case of simply having to replace the PCB or do I need to get the boiler investigated to diagnose the specific problem?

Is there anybody you would recommend for repairs in the Medway area of Kent.

Thanks for your help.

It could be any part of the system causing the fuse to blow, might be the pump?
Get someone in to check it out rather than spending out on a PCB that might not be faulty.

I would doubt its the pcb, althought unless investigated soon the fault may take the pcb out as well

Needs to be logically tested with a multimeter to find the errant part.
