I have a baxi solo 2 boiler with an external pressure tank.
The sysem is pumped with a honeywell diverter valve.
I want to move the boiler higher up the wall to free the space below.
I also want to move the hot water cylinder and its header tank, together with the pump and diverter valve, into the next room. Ideally I would like to locate the pressure tank with them.
What I need to know is this.
1. Is the height of the pressure tank critical in realation to the boiler height?
2. Is the location of the pressure tank in the circuit critical to the boiler?
3. Are there any pitfalls that I have not envisaged?

Not at all. Can be above, below,...
2. Is the location of the pressure tank in the circuit critical to the boiler?
No. Tradition says put it on the return connected close, but people do all sorts and I've never heard of any problems.
3. Are there any pitfalls that I have not envisaged?
Yes. There always are. Only question is, how deep? :D
