We have an old wooden bay window that we are looking to replace on the ground floor front of house. The brickwork is just a flat wall but the bay looks as thought it is stuck on the front of the house, with 2 wooden brackets underneath and a flat roof.

If I were to have this changed to PVC, would the whole thing be replaced, including the big wooden window sill on the inside, or do they just change the frames and panes?

Either, Or.

Just ask the company to quote for what you want them to do.

Usually that type of bay has no insulation on the bottom so I would be asking if they will be putting some in.
