hi all, could anyone tell us a problem with the 552 bbu. new thermocouple has been fitted by heating engineer pilot light stays on, when heat/hot water is turned on bbu fires up but after 5 mins bbu and pilot go out. relight pilot all ok then same thing over and over again. engineer is coming back monday but is there something we can do to check system,pump running room stat on max thanks for any info

You don't say why a new thermocouple was fitted?
Did you have this problem before it was fitted?

You may simply have a poorly fitted thermocouple....or a serious flue and/or ventilation problem

To be on the safe side, don't use it until its been checked by a competent person

new thermocouple was fitted because of no pilot light, before it burnt out all was fine with bbu

Pilot injector needs cleaning out
