Assuming that voltage was measured with a voltage tester with one wire on the live and on wire on the neutral that is fine and there is no reason that it shouldn't work.


Connect again, fit front, power on, press grey button on front of receiver, green light should come on along with the heating.

Has the boiler got the mechanical clock on the fascia, and is that set to permanently on.
