Bedroom A light sometimes comes on ok, sometimes flickers and then comes on, sometimes does not come on at all.

Bedroom B - when Bedroom A's light does not come on then switch Bedroom B lights on and A comes on soon as you use Bedroom B switch.

Must be faulty wiring. Checked all connections. I think it is most likely to be a problem in Bedroom B's light fittings. Can anyone confirm this or any other suggestions.

Problem has been around for sometime so I cannot say what caused it.

Sounds like a loose connection, the likely source of this could be at the ceiling rose, but this will depend on how the circuit is wired up.
I would check the connection at both of these lights and also the light that is previous to these two in the circuit, the fault could be there.
If you don't know which one this is, just check them all on that floor, remember to safely isolate the circuit before you carry this work out.
