Bee identification

Anyone know what these are?

Darting in and out of a conifer hedge.

looks like a common honey bee

Daughter has them in her hedge, the dog keeps trying to catch them.

The bands look typical of a honey bee, they are certainly very active at the moment

Its a Capital B......

Lower case b's are smaller!
