Hi all,

I've got a small homebrew rig in my loft. Part of the process involves a rolling boil which kicks off steam; my question relates to what to do with this. I've done a test brew, and its not too bad - it was notably hot in the loft, and there was humidity, but it didn't seem to be condensing anywhere.

A couple of questions remain, though...

Most importantly; whether I'll do any damage with this (brewing is generally for an hour, at most every fortnight, but more likely once a month)?

If so, are there any solutions? What about having a vent tile fitted and using an extractor to encourage the steam out of it? Or a plate of metal running down the roof slope over the boiler to encourage a chunk of the steam to condense and run into a tray?
