Beko dishwasher filling with water

Hello. Any ideas for this problem with my Beko dishwasher dwd4311w? It is several years old and washes and dries the dishes fine with this problem. About a month ago I noticed that between washes water is collecting in the dishwasher. After a couple of days the water is visible over the filter and, if left for a week, there is enough water for it to leak on to the kitchen floor. If I turn off the water inlet between washes, the water no longer collects.

Is there likely to be a simple fix or cheap repair for this? I reckon that a replacement machine would be about £200.

change the water inlet valve. Make sure the hose filter is in place.
