Hi,

My beko wma765s washing machine will not drain the water inside. For some reason when i've done a 30min wash the time freezes about 15mins into the cycle and the drum just slowly spins as normal but it does not count down. Because of this it does not finish its cycle and leaves it full over water. Ive have tried to override the cycle but no joy.. Anyone any ideas whats causing the time to freeze?

Thanks

Check the filter and drain pump, the machine needs to drain the wash water out before going onto a rinse cycle so if the pump is blocked it can not continue.

thanks for that... how do i get to the drain pump to check it?

Some are at the front behind the kick strip, you have a cap that generally unscrews (filter) clean that out.

If not (depending on machine) remove the back or tip back against a wall and look for the pump that is attached to the waste hose.

You may need to clean out the sump pipe as well.

Magic, cheers leccy.... Checked filter and it was mega clogged up. Will try and run a full cycle now, see if its sorted itself out.
