hi.i have a belling electric cooker.about 9 months ago i had the main oven element replaced.the element had blown but the fan+oven display still worked.on xmas eve we were cooking when there was an almighty bang+flash of light coming from the oven door.i turned off the power+checked the element,it had blown again.this time the display+fan were not working as well.the cooker also as a grill/oven and ceramic hob.these are still working.is there a separate fuse in the cooker for the main oven that could of blown when the element blew????.the cooker is free standing.

There wont be a fuse in the cooker, a terminal may have blown or a COMMON wire has broke.

The display & fan are probably controled by the t/stat, so the chances are the stat has also gone.

If you are competent check the wiring start at the element.

Very unlucky to have 2 elements blow.

IF YOU ARE GONING TO CHECK THE ELEMENTS / CONNECTORS...TURN THE POWER OFF
