Does anyone know what error code E2 means on the Belling IDW604 dishwasher or know how to fix it. I think it might have something to do with the drain pump but can't find a user manual anywhere on the internet.

E2 means that anti flood device has been activated.....either an internal leak or the machine is overfilling.

Tilt the dishwasher forward (or back) & drain the water off the baseplate (have some old towels ready). Once the water is out you should be able to restart the machine. If it happens again (& it isn't because of overfilling) then you got a leak someplace that needs tracking down. If it doesn't happen again keep a close eye on things & see what develops. Popular places for leaks are wash motor seals & hoses, but leaks can occur other places. If you don't feel confident to dig any deeper best call service.
