Just noticed my towel rail (chrome) has arrived with top bar slightly bent- I cannot send back as ordered too long ago. Anyone any suggestions on how to bend back without damaging chrome? Ic an live with a dent but would prefer not to have the bend!

I'd be worried about the integrity of the welds at each end and not risk it. If the place where you got it from still have them in stock, order another one and then (soon after receipt) complain that it is bent and ask for a refund, returning the bent one and keeping the new good one.
