I have a Berberis Darwinii which I inherited in the garden when we moved.
This bush must be at least 60 years old, it flowers every year, I prune just after.
It now has about 5 feet of wood before the green starts, I would like to bring
this bush down to about 2-3 feet in height, will it sprout on the old wood and, if so, when
should I do it, not bothered about berries.
