Best adverts on the telly are the specsaver ones

Our border collie, was obsessed by sheep on the screen, and loved the one where the shepherd, was shearing the sheep, and mistook the border collie for one of the sheep. Every time the soundtrack came on, she would rush to the TV, and would get exited watching the ad..

A few/many years ago there was an advert (animation). It was a guy walking with his dog over a zebra crossing. A car approaches and slams it's brakes on, thereby not hitting the guy and dog. Very subtly, the dog poops and then leaves brown footprint marks as it continues to walk over the crossing.

From memory, it was an esure advert- predating Michael Winner's "calm down dear" ones.

For those old enough to remember the’ Tartan Special’ adverts, where the ah-hem “ exotic dancer” comes on in the pub, and all the punters rush over to watch …….
Mr Cool stays at the bar, supping his pint, watching the overhead mirrors pointing down ……. Pure classic

I like the recent Virgin advert. It’s brilliantly shot and even more brilliantly edited. Then just when you’re thinking at last a proper bloke flying it, it’s s lady pilot. Great sting in the tail, and completely on brand for Virgin’s image.

Absolutely brilliant that advert, one of my favorites. I have never understood why Virgin have never got in touch with me being so glamerous, I would look amazing as a pilot in their advertisements.
