Best affordable roof lights

Hi guys,

Im looking at getting 2 ceiling windows for the loft (which Id like as an occasional bedroom). Im getting overwhelmed by choices. The builder has suggest Dakea. He says theyre easier to fit than velux.

In your opinion, what are the better value windows? The builder said Dakea are cheaper and just as good.

Why? Is "Occasional bedroom" a dirty term round here?

Im not trying to create a cheap bedroom or doing anything dodgy, I want to convert the loft to being a usable storage space. But now Im thinking that - now the whole floor is boarded - I need to put some windows in there so it gets some daylight, so why not have a mattress up there (should I have anyone stay over) they can sleep up there? I have a tiny one bed cottage, so every bit of space counts!

This is why Im looking for the BEST VALUE windows - I expect it will so rarely be used as a bedroom!
