Have sanded back our original pine floorboards and now looking for a finish but there's so many on the market I'm struggling to pick. I've been told polyurethane is best and was looking at bona mega one or ronseal do a polyurethane varnish.

I want a Matt silk (really subtle finish) and just a clear rather than anything tinted. Can anyone advise?

Also had trouble getting to the parts under radiators so if anyone has any tips on how to get to that would be great. Thanks

I've used ronseal diamond hard floor varnish with good results.
They also do many colours, but I prefer to stain the wood with a spirit based dye and then use the clear ronseal varnish.
