I'm after a good quality matt paint for my open plan kitchen and dining/lounge.
I have quite a full household and my walls tend to get marked quite a lot, so I'm after something tough that I can wash down. I guess it needs to be able to withstand grease marks too. The main thing I want though is a good finish.
I was looking at Dulux Kitchen Plus, but I remember using that in the past and it was really thick and seemed to leave cutting in lines and roller marks. The other paint I was considering is Dulux Trade Diamond Matt. Dulux have another new paint called Ultra White, that they say is 20 times tougher than normal emulsion but that seems hard to get hold of. I'm thinking of doing all the ceilings and walls white. Does anyone have any advice on the best paint to use.
The plaster is all new but has dried out. I'm going to do a couple of mist coats using a cheap matt emulsion.
