Folks,

Spent a good of time ripping all the trees, bushes, turf etc out of my garden and it's now time to start putting it back together. I measured out the area and ordered 13 Tonne topsoil to hopefully pack it up to the right elevation. I got my first 3 Tonne and I've started with the borders/path at the upper end as the garden is on a slope and it will all slope down from these points.

My question is what's the best way to be doing this? Some advice I've read is to pack the area up, scrape it off flat then walk over boards to compress it? To give you an idea some parts need packed up by 300mm.

Are there any do's and don'ts? Everythings went swimmingly till now so I don't want to mess it up!!
