I have spent a massive amount of time and energy, (4 months) painstakingly installing a solid oak strip floor. Which is as we speak curing the top coat of Polyx. In a few days I'll buff and wax it. (Just to make it leathal you understand).

I am really keen to cover parts of it up while the rest of the painting, and woodwork is completed to avoid the otherwise inevitable, tool drop or other careless damage that will happen.

Any views on this topic?

I read on a few websites that "Rosin Paper" is really good - where can I get it?

don't cover it up before it has fully cured = 10 days.

Cardboard (builders merchants) would do too - don't use dust(y) sheets
