Attached a couple of photos showing an opening light that has seen better days. The frame and the non opening light are fine. For some reason this one light has suffered badly. There being no drip head does not help.
I was hoping before removing the light that a bit of wood filler would work, how wrong I was. I do not really want to go to the effort, and expense of changing out the whole thing, as for one thing there is another matching window near it
and would look silly with two different windows, basing that on the assumption I cannot get an exact replacement. Would you suggest it is worth trying to repair or not? I am thinking of cutting out the rotten wood and slicing in replacement pieces.
Oh and by the way the property is listed.
Thanks
