bg swapped new bolier , but still have the same problem,

bg keep saying there isnt a problem.

Yes. Avoid british gas they are generally hopeless and overcharge.

I suggest you get someone else in to sort it out and then bill british gas
for the work.
We need more information

Is the boiler coming on?
Are the radiators heating up?

Yes heating coming on and rads heating , but
Tested the boiler to see how long it took to
Warm the house set the temp for 26 and after 2hours
The temp was on only 23.5.

Why on earth would you want the temperature in the house to
be 26 degrees!!!!
A more reasonable setting is 18-19 degrees.

It is more than likely the radiators are not of sufficient capacity to reach
such a high temperature due to the heat loses of the house.

ah!, you need more insulation and double glazing, get them done and you will be able to stroll round your house naked. dont forget to close the curtains

Are you a Nigerian?

They like to have the heating at 30° C

The rest of us choose 20-21° C

Needed to test the boiler - as couldn't really
Test it with the weather- so someone said
Out it on a really high temp to see if
It could reach it and time it.

But it should not take over 2 hours to go up
2 degrees?.

Yes have double glazing in a modern 4
Bed house.

If all the radiators come on and get hot the boiler is working fine.
If you have thermostatic valves on the radiators then they will be switching off as the house gets warm.
Your system is fine. Tell the person who said to do this to shut up in future.
