BHWD 129 Hotpoint flashing door light and won't start

My BhWd 129 is playing up. Firstly it didn't seem to progress to the drying cycle. So I restarted it on another program and it washed and dryed ok (all be it the towels were very stiff after). Now I'm trying to wash something (no drying) and it won't start. The door key lock is flashing and it is making the clicking / turning over sound that it always makes when it starts. Any ideas?
