The boiler was working fine, turned off for one month and now it is playing up! It seems the thermo goes to 6o degrees and cuts out.. The flame continusouly switches on and off till it reaches 60 then shuts off! How do i fix this, days of cold showers are killing me! :(

It's probably just the pump stuck, if you take the big screw out of the front and stick a small screwdriver in and give it a twist that should free it off.

Is this screw apparent when i remove the boiler door?

If you can see the pump then yes. Slap bang in the middle about 1/2" diameter. Turn power to boiler off then put a cloth under pump and open screw, water will ooze out, put a flat bladed screwdriver in and turn the pump so it is free, then replace the screw. Dont let any water run on the pcb or other electrics.

Its nothing to do with the pump.

I assume that this is a description of the HW mode and that it works fairly on heating.

It will probably be associated with the fan but that would need a competent CORGI to deal with it.

From the limited information given it could possibly be other causes as well. Presumably the system water pressure is about 1.5 Bar.
