Biasi 24S No pilot light No DHW No CH ????????

Hi to all!The subject pretty much says everything.I haven't tried anything yet apart some heavy thinking and taking off the front cover of the combi.doesn't help... When I turn the HW tap in the kitchen(closest to the boiler) I hear switching noise which I suppose is the microswitch obviously working.No pilot light at all though.Turn off the tap and the noise come out again.Nothing else - it's just dead.Can you advise,please!Thank you!

No,the little red button seems to be tucked in,tried to push it but it doesn't move.The green light is on.Very little noise like just power running from the boiler,nothing else.No fan,no pump...?!Cheers!

There is also a leakage from a gate valve on the water main.This has probably caused the pressure drop I notised.I refilled to 1.5 bar - same thing.Previously pressure has been down to 0 with the boiler still working so I don't think this was the fault but just to mention that I tried it.

Are you saying it does not work on CH or DHW ?

The first thing that should happen is for the pump to run. If its not running its jammed or faulty.

You need to check for mains at the pump connections, if no volts then faulty PCB.

If volts and no pump run then faulty pump!

After checking the pump, check the fan. I've replaced a couple of failed fans in the 24s recently

Yes,guys,no CH,no HW,no pump or fan running - nothing.I try to be as precise as I possibly can - I turn the boiler on from the spur.The green light is lit.No spark , no noise - nothing.It is set for both CH&HW.Tried also only for CH - the same.The red reset pin stays pushed in.When run the hot water from the tap I hear a click but that's all.When I turn it off something inside clicks again.I know it could be anything - probably gas valve,pump,fan,even may be the reset pin is just stuck,or the boiler is gone off for safety and now can't get it back working.I do not know,I'm not competent in combi.If you can sugest if there is something which should always start first when the boiler goes on,may be it is the cause.

The pump should run first of all wether its a HW or CH demand. So we need to know if there is power to it? If so why isnt it spinning.

How can I check if there is a power to the pump?sorry if sounds stupid...cheers

You would need an electical tester or even a volt stick would suffice.

To be honest i think your probably best to call someone out. You dont really want to be poking around your boiler of you dont know whats what!

If you cannot test for mains power at the pump connector then you will have to call professional help!
