Hi, I have a problem with my Biasi boiler. Just moved in two weeks ago and all working fine then yesterday the lock out signal came on and then returned to normal after I pressed the lock out reset button. Today the lock out signal lamp has come back but now is not resetting. Also, the middle red light is flashing. Pressure bar is at 0.1 Any ideas what the problem is, am I going to have to call an engineer and how much will that cost? Thanks

Increase the pressure to just above 1bar. A few things can cause pressure drop ,all relate to water being lost . what are the two green lights either side of the red doing ? Tell us if they are lit / flashing together or alternating. Are you sure this middle red light is flashing ? I would expect it to remain lit ,not flash ?

Okay, thanks for your reply. How do I increase the pressure? The two green lights have stopped doing anything, not lit or flashing. Yes the red light is flashing and then the lock out signal is remaining lit.

You should have a filling loop near the boiler ,silver coloured braided flexible hose ,with a valve ,usually at each end, with levers. But it may have been disconnected from pipework and be left laying about. Can you post pics of pipework below boiler and boiler controls / gauge etc ?

As the lock out light is lit ,you need to press the re set button. That light will not light because of lack of pressure , thats a different fault . are you able to re set ? If not you will need an engineer to visit to establish the cause of the lock out.

Okay, I have tried to reset both lock out and general but neither have changed anything. I have called an engineer so is coming tomorrow. Thanks.
