Hi

I've got the chance to pick up a cheap Drayton LP241 timer and from what I can figure from the manuals it should be suitable for my Biasi combi. Is anyone able to confirm that it will indeed work and also confirm wiring for this boiler?
Would be much appreciated :)

Cheers
Neil

No.
you need a "volts free" type of time control and thermostat.

Thanks for the reply.
The Drayton site states that all Drayton time switches have volt free contacts and looking at the LP241 if you don't include the link from L to terminal 1 they appear to be volt free. Is there more to it than this though?

Is the LP 241 not a programmer (2 channel), time switches are single channel and so can be used volt free.

The LP111 or LP711 are the combi-controls you need the 241 is for mainly for Y-Plan and S-Plan systems.

If the link isn't already removed from terminals 1 and 3. Remove the link.

Connect terminal 1 from the boiler 3-way terminal block to Terminal 2 of the LPxxx programmer and connect terminal 3 from the programmer to terminal 3 of the boiler 3-way terminal.

Commission and enjoy :)
