Hi, I have a problem with biasi boiler DHW supply but only to the shower. Kitchen tap and basin is running hot but shower is barely warm. I have called a plumber who changed thermostatic valve in the shower but it didn't change anything, he then took the shower off and run the hot water directly from the pipe in the wall and that how it comes from the boiler- barely warm. When he reduced the flow from the boiler with isolating valve or blue valve under the boiler water temperature temporarily goes up and down again. He changed 2 temperature probes but nothing has changed. 3 fault lights (green, red, green) flashing together 1sec on 1sec off and there's no fault code like that in manual. After half a day looking for problem he said I'll need a new boiler as this one is old anyway and probably not worth repairing, but apart from that shower problem boiler is working fine. Hopefully someone can advise me if replacement is the only option or there is something silly he have missed? Thanks in advance.

I think you neeed to get someone else in, Im not so sure you have a boiler fault, but if you do simple boilers to work on and spares not too expensive, changing the boiler will be a complete waste of time if it is not the boiler.

That isnt a fault code, it is a set up code, it flashes like that when you are configuring the settings on the electronics

Thanks for your reply, he ruled out any obstruction in the pipes or problem with shower and narrowed it down to the boiler, probably control board. I think I'll call Biasi and see if they can give me rough idea on cost of repair. Tbf this plumber is a honest bloke and I've known him for years, it's just a boiler side of heating may not be his strongest point.
